Museum Quality Stone and Countertops

October 6, 2010

Cumar Inc. has earned its reputation for embracing state-of-the-art technology under the watchful eye of owner Angelo Ivo Cubi. Cumar artisans use these advanced systems to create couture stonework from marble, granite and many other fine stones.

Delivering legendary museum quality art for all projects is what has made Cumar such a household name in the stone working world. Whether a small project or an expansive renovation, Cumar’s ability to marry modern technology with finely crafted hand-tooled stone art means the end result will be no less than extraordinary.

Starting as one of the first fabrication shops in the stone industry to purchase a CNC machine, Cumar now has two CNC fabrication machines to precisely cut and finish full projects with computer-generated programming that allows virtually limitless options. A high-pressure water jet cutting machine can make any shape and design imaginable adding even greater versatility to Cumar’s stone work.

Using state-of-the-art equipment, the Cumar artisans can change the surface finish on any slab allowing for unlimited options for stone finishes. Cumar can touch-up or re-polish older slabs that have minor scratches or stains. If a customer wants a honed “antiqued” or “leather” finish, Cumar can now make it happen with their combination of artistry and technology.
