    There is a reason why Cumar Inc. established itself over the years as the leading importer and fabricator of the finest marble, granite and exotic stones in the New England region. Its history encompasses several decades and generations: when Angelo “Ivo” Cubi founded Cumar Inc. in 1992 in Everett, MA, he was carrying out a family tradition of seven generations. And it is indisputable that he brought with him a piece of Italy.

    It was late spring when a train hit the truck headed to The Cubi’s facility in San Pietro in Cariano (Italy)

    Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella and the area surrounding this small city in the heart of Po Valley is considered the marble’s temple.

  • New England Living TV – Back Bay Episode Featuring Daher Interior Design

    New England Living TV Season 2 Episode 8 features the home and project of Boston based Designer Paula Daher of Daher Interior Design. Paula is a valued customer of Cumar’s so you will see much of Cumar’s elaborate stonework in her projects. This particular Daher project features a gorgeous marble kitchen with a soft leathered finish, a Blue Calcite bathroom complete with slabs on the walls and built up moldings, and a fabulous custom fireplace surround which will be shown alongside our very own Carlo Barglia in this episode.
