25 years ago, CUMAR’s founder Ivo Cubi – a seventh-generation stone expert, traveled to the states from Italy with a mission to be one of the best stone fabricators in the business.
This month as we celebrate the anniversary of opening our doors in Everett, we are both honored and humbled to have served our customers for a quarter of a century, and being home to the largest stone warehouse in New England. Our ever changing, and ever growing, showroom displays couture stones and our warehouse looms with huge slabs of marble from Italy and China, travertine from Turkey, granites from Brazil and onyx from the Middle East. CUMAR has, and continues to have, the highest quality and quantity of unique stones anywhere, in a well-maintained depot whose inventory won’t disappoint.
Unlike most custom fabricators, Ivo himself travels all over the world to cherry pick the most unique stones from quarries, allowing CUMAR’s incredibly talented 75-person team to fabricate anything a creative designer can imagine. Ivo’s daughter, Carlotta, carries on the family tradition, joining Ivo in making CUMAR the undisputed first choice of those seeking the highest quality natural stone for use in hotels, offices, and exceptional residences.
In addition to CUMAR being a one-stop source for executing the most intricate and demanding kitchens, baths, and special projects, part of CUMAR’s ongoing success is due to the working relationships with the region’s most noted design professionals and prestigious developers. CUMAR is in constant gratitude of these people and their business and with 25 years of success in the business, CUMAR is honored to be able to celebrate this achievement with those individuals.
25 years is quite a milestone. We are thrilled to be able to celebrate with everyone who has made our success possible on the 17th of October at our big Anniversary Party and we look forward to 25 plus more years of being a cut above.
